Most famous as the headquarters of the UK horse racing industry with studs and associated services, training yards and of course, the two race courses.  If you are interested in horses there are tours of the various establishments and facilities, the National Stud and the horse racing museum.  If not, the miles of gallops and the courses (when not in use) are open in the afternoons for long walks.  For Music lovers it is now the place to enjoy summer days out with a combined ticket for a day racing followed by entertainment by a range of top bands.

For the younger, or young at heart, there are several late night pubs and the night club for your entertainment.
